We provide high traffic display locations throughout North Dakota, western Minnesota, eastern Montana, and southern New Mexico. Our product line includes technologically-advanced digital displays, high-impact rotary bulletins, cost effective poster panels and strategically placed highway bulletins. Our experienced staff assists clients with concept, design, production and discerning plans of action to reach the highest level of awareness for our client’s product or service.
Job Description
NEWMAN OUTDOOR ADVERTISING seeks energetic individuals to join our outdoor advertising sales executive team. Individual must possess good work ethic, be professional, goal oriented, highly motivated and aggressive. Must enjoy working with people in a fast paced sales environment. Individual must possess personality necessary to build successful client relationships. We offer exciting new opportunities in outdoor media necessary with digital signage. Strong sales background preferred. Minimal weekly travel required. This position headquarters out of Jamestown, Fargo or Grand Forks making contacts throughout North Dakota, western Minnesota and eastern Montana. Your income is limited only by your desire and drive.
Job Responsibilities
Prospecting new clients for new accounts mainly by visiting with business.
Designing and selling outdoor advertising which includes large format bulletins and billboards.
Responsibilities include completing all paperwork in a timely manner including but not limited to contracts, work orders, and billing procedure information.
Compiling reports and completing any other general duties assigned by the manager.
Photographing billboards and checking illumination on billboards.
Follow-up and collection of past due accounts as required.
Required Skills and Experience
Professional, goal oriented, highly motivated, aggressive, self starter.
Strong sales background preferred.
College degree preferred.
Require a level of expertise with Microsoft products including but are not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel.

and distributes traffic signs and traffic related products throughout the United States. Our main
office is located in Jamestown, ND, with sales offices in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, ND and Roswell
and Las Cruces, NM. All manufacturing of traffic signs and structures is done at the Jamestown location.

NEWMAN SIGNS has an opening for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, dependable individual to join our team
as a Sales Assistant at our main office in Jamestown. You will work as part of a team. Your team’s work will involve
selling traffic signs in your assigned area of the country. You will be busy serving customers and assisting teammate.
This is a high energy job for someone with good people skills and willingness to work steadily. Opportunity for career
advancement to Sales Representative, leading your own team, is a strong possibility of this position. The workweek is
40 hours, Monday through Friday. No travel required. Hourly wage plus bonus based on sales.
Job Responsibilities
Sale of Traffic Signs and other miscellaneous items throughout the United States
Record keeping of the accounts
Required to learn products to better assist customers with their traffic signs needs
Required to keep abreast of changes in the traffic signs industry to best advise customers
Required Skills and Experience
Two year degree or equvalent sales experience preferred
Computer experience in Excel and Word required
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Individual will be professionally representing Newman Signs and must have an interest in sales
Expertise in marketing principles and skills preferred
This job requires being comfortable on the telephone but it is not telemarketing
